How Mobile Car Detailing Works: What to Expect When We Show Up

If you've never used a mobile detailing service before, the concept might feel unfamiliar. Do they need your hose? Do you have to be home? What actually happens? Here's the full picture of what a M&W appointment looks like.

Step 1: Book Online (60 Seconds)

We use an online booking system where you pick your service, date, time, and location. No phone tag, no waiting for a quote. Just pick what you need and confirm. Most bookings take under a minute.

Step 2: We Come to You

Our van is fully self-contained. We bring our own water, power, equipment, and products. You don't need to provide anything. Just leave the car accessible at the address you booked. We serve homes, offices, apartment complexes, and anywhere else in Columbia, MO.

Step 3: The Detail

Depending on your service, here's what we do:

Full Detail (2–3 hours)

We start outside: hand wash, wheels, tires, decontamination, clay bar, trim dressing, glass. Then we move inside: vacuum, steam clean, shampoo carpets, condition leather or fabric, clean all surfaces and vents. We finish by dressing the tires and doing a final quality check walk-around.

Interior Detail (2–3 hours)

Full interior extraction: vacuum everything, steam the hard surfaces and vents, deep shampoo the carpets and floor mats, condition the leather or treat the fabric, clean all glass interior, treat for odor if needed.

Ceramic Coating (1–2 days)

Paint decontamination, clay bar, and light polish prep before the coating application. The coating cures and bonds to the clear coat, providing years of protection. This service requires the car to be parked covered or garaged during cure.

Step 4: Walk-Around and Done

Before we leave, we do a final walk-around so you can see the results. Every service is Carfax reported the same day. You get a clean car and a documented service record. No extra steps on your end.
